Tech-Savvy Viral Video Star Contest
We often hear of teens teaching older generations and grandparents how to use technology, but wouldn’t you like to see a few tech-savvy older adults give their own peers the 411 on navigating technology in your 60s, 70s, 80s and even 90s?
SeniorLiving.org (https://www.seniorliving.org/) is calling all adults 55+ to accept this challenge in its first “Become a Viral Video Star! contest,” which is now accepting entries.
Simply create and submit a “how-to” video that instructs older adults on something technical - whether it’s how to use Zoom, set up your Roomba, or store digital photos - and compete for a cash prize and a chance to be featured on SeniorLiving.org’s YouTube channel watched by more than 25,000 subscribers nationwide.
How to Enter:
- Visit https://www.seniorliving.org/viral-video-star-contest/
- Decide on a tech topic you want to teach about
- Record a video no more than 5 minutes in length
- Upload the video.
That’s it! July 31st is the submissions deadline.
