From decorated cookies to mashed potatoes, it’s one food event after another filling the holiday season up with special foods. For many, the season becomes more about food than anything else…and we wonder why we gain weight.

When going to a party, there is no need to hang out by the food table when there are people all around us! Ignore the grub and go for the meaningful stuff that will create memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Besides, it’s much easier to talk without munching, and we even listen better when we’re not stuck thinking about how good the next bite is going to be.
