Discover a More Personal Approach to Primary Care with USMD

USMD Opens New MidCities Clinic

Primary Care physicians (PCPs) serve as the main point of contact in a health care system – they are the first call a patient makes when their throat hurts, they have a fever, earache or the flu or need an annual physical, preventive care or screening.

Aside from being the main medical contact, PCPs:

  • Treat patients with comprehensive, continuous and compassionate care

  • Provide access to a wide spectrum of health services, such as care for chronic conditions, including asthma, hypertension and diabetes; and care for acute symptoms, like stomach pain or high fever.

  • Serve as a patient’s advocate and guide through the health care system

  • Coordinate a patient’s care in one place and provide referrals to specialty care, when needed

  • Detect patterns in a patient’s health and recommend lifestyle changes to prevent future complications that may require costly specialty care or ER visits.

USMD has nearly 100 primary care physicians at 25 clinic locations, caring for patients across DFW, serving patients of all ages, including those on Medicare and Medicare Advantage!
