Theatre Arlington Presents: The Game’s Afoot; or Holmes for the Holidays
It is December 1936, and Broadway star William Gillette, admired the world over for his leading role in the play Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for the holidays. But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, Gillette assumes the persona of his beloved Holmes, to track down the killer before the next victim appears. The danger and hilarity are non-stop in this glittering whodunit set during the Christmas holidays presented by Theatre Arlington.
Executive Producer Steven D. Morris is excited to bring this holiday gathering gone wrong, and knows audiences will be delighted with the hilarious mad-cap murder mystery as only playwright Ken Ludwig can deliver.
This amazing cast includes faces both old and new to the Theatre Arlington stage and highlights a spectacular art deco set designed by Bryan Stevenson.
Morris also notes that this time of year is a favorite of his, and that “the shows are Theatre Arlington’s gift to the community, as a way for families to laugh together and create great memories.” Enjoy the festive atmosphere with our fully decorated lobby and bar, ready to fill you with holiday cheer!
Group Ticket rates for the show are available for parties of 10 or more.
