Stories That Will Feed Your Mind, Heart, and Soul

Love listening to scary stories? Tall tales? Or maybe personal yarns? Come to Denton to celebrate 35 years of Texas Storytelling Festivals featuring 35 Tejas Tellers with three-and-half days of stories that will feed your mind, heart, and soul. 

Festival audiences will be treated to storytelling concerts, workshops, music, a liars contest, and story swaps at 35th Annual Texas Storytelling Festival “Tejas Live with 35!” March 12 to 15, 2020 at Denton Civic Center. Go to www.tejasstorytelling.com/festivalfor information and tickets. 

 

We have 35 Featured Tejas Tellers. We feature state, regional, national, and international storytellers from all over Texas as well as Oklahoma, Louisiana, California, and Virginia.

Ghost Stories Concert on Thursday:   7:30 pm - 9:35 pm

Spring Break Concert (elementary age kids) on Friday:   10:45 am - 12:00 pm 

Story Slam on Friday: 1:15 pm to 2:45 pm 

Family Concert and Kids' Activities on Saturday: 10:00 am - 1:15 pm

Fringe Concerts on Saturday:  10:00 am - 11:15 am and 3:00 pm - 5:15 pm 
Sacred Tales Concert 
and Tai Chi on Sunday: 9:30 am to 11:15 am
