“Dallas” Revisited!!

Last night I was transported back to the 1970s and 1980s, then suddenly it was 2012!

Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy, stars of the worldwide-famed tv show “Dallas” were onstage at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas to talk about their experiences filming both the original, and the TNT reboot of just three years ago.

It was an exciting evening, with the stars talking about their favorites episodes, their disappointment when the TNT series was cancelled, and their memories of Larry Hagman, that Texas guy who made JR come to life.

Their conversation was witty, cordial, and comfortable, and they seemed to be enjoying themselves with Robert Wilonsky, Dallas Morning News columnist, as moderator and host.

Linda Gray is an award winning actress, an accomplished director, a former United Nations Goodwill Ambassador and one of the world’s most recognized and admired stars.
Her award winning portrayal of ‘Sue Ellen’, in the original TV series “Dallas”, brought her international fame and critical acclaim earning her an Emmy nomination for Best Actress and numerous International awards. After eleven years as the number 1 show on television, “Dallas” returned to TNT in 2012 and ran for 3 successful seasons.

Patrick Duffy's tremendous worldwide audience appeal has been gained through three highly successful series. Starting with "Man From Atlantis," then his thirteen years starring as Bobby Ewing on "Dallas" (including the unprecedented ‘dream season’ which he is brought back from the dead in the famous shower scene), and finally in seven seasons of the popular half-hour situation comedy "Step by Step", Patrick has consistently been an audience favorite.
