It all started on March 28, 2018 with a dream from God and cheerleaders in the community to come together to make this dream a reality. The Young family toured Washington's Museums and found the "Magic Wall" and introduced it to the funeral services. On January 7, 2021 The Texas Funeral Service commissioned Young’s Daughters Funeral Home and Bereavement Center which made it operational with its first service in February of 2021. Owned by Sabrina N. Young, CFSP, a 2x Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and a mother of five daughters, a wife to Justin Young and pet lover. She started planning for a new age of economical, innovative and technologically enhanced services. The building was erected from a steel frame, spray foam insulation, and rock around the building with two large awnings at 5,000sq ft giving plenty of flexible space. Each room is named after the daughter’s middle names. The fleet comprises 2021 Denali’s with purple processional lights which is the historical trend of processions. The staff is mostly veterans and servant oriented staff with compassionate hearts. Many are asking if they had preplanned arrangements with other funeral homes if they could transfer to Young’s Daughters the answer under most conditions is YES! Prepaid funeral policies are transferable to most funeral homes since it is treated as an insurance policy and the funeral homes take an assignment of the proceeds when the time comes of a loved one passing.
