Hottie hotspots: Best places to meet a potential date

Dating can be a blast, but finding someone to date in the first place can be a bit of a challenge. Bar hopping and bingo halls can get glum. You can instead meet a potential date by simply indulging in your passions.
Your first step is figuring out your passions. Perhaps you love to hike, bike, paint, dance, or drink lots of wine. Maybe you like to travel or read. Whatever it is, be assured there are plenty of other folks who like to do the same thing.
The next step is transforming your passions into opportunities to meet the next Mr. or Mrs. Right -- or at least a date for next Saturday night. Joining a local group that meets regularly to indulge in your chosen passion gives you immediate access to tons of other folks. Join a hiking group, a book club or a cross-town bicycling event. Take an art class or wine-tasting tour. Go on a group jaunt to Rome.
Volunteer opportunities are another way to expand your dating pool. Avid readers can head down to the library. Hikers and bikers can check out the parks department. Travelers might volunteer at a tourism office while wine tasters, well, maybe the local wine shop needs someone to hand out fliers.
Expand your contacts even further by going online. Online MeetUp groups are hot and cover an array of interests in cities across the country. Join in the chatting and activities.
The more you get yourself out there, the greater your chances are of meeting your next date. And you don't even have to bar hop to do it.
